IFAT Munich 2024 concluded on Friday, and Chemitec is looking back at five days of innovation, education and connection at the world’s leading environmental technologies fair.

Water-industry professionals who visited Messe München last week enjoyed meeting with our experts to discuss their processes and how Chemitec’s sensors, controllers and other state-of-the-art instruments can overcome the challenges they face.

These solutions included the new 70 Series controllers for drinking water treatment and cooling tower applications, with attendees keen to learn how these multiparametric systems display as many as eight measurements simultaneously via intelligent, intuitive interfaces.

Also grabbing visitors’ attention was the recently launched S494N amperometric sensor, which has been developed especially for the measurement of chlorine and other oxidants in water-treatment processes.

Covering pH from 6 to 8 and temperatures up to 45°C, S494N is suitable for an extensive range of uses including drinking water, wastewater and process water applications.
